Trust & Methodology

How Sawyer Preflight works, what it checks, and what it can and cannot do.

What we check

Every analysis evaluates creative against four dimensions: market and audience expectations, brand and policy standards, rights and IP signals, and strategic alignment with approved briefs.

How guidance is maintained

Our knowledge base is reviewed regularly. Significant developments are monitored between cycles. Proposed changes are reviewed by specialists before publication.

What Human-verified means

A specialist with relevant market expertise reviews every AI-generated finding, confirms or adjusts severity, adds professional context, and timestamps the review. This adds accountability — it does not constitute legal clearance.

What AI-only means

Reports generated on Starter plans are labeled AI-only. They contain the same analysis but have not been reviewed by a human specialist. They are delivered instantly.

How legal and IP flags should be used

Legal and IP findings provide guidance and screening signals. They do not constitute legal advice or clearance. Consult qualified counsel for legal determinations before market launch.

What sources appear in reports

Every finding includes source citations from our knowledge base — regional regulations, cultural guidance, brand documents uploaded by your team, or strategy documents you provide.

How your data is protected

All uploaded content is stored in private encrypted storage. Files are never used to train AI models. You can delete assets at any time. Analysis is processed and stored exclusively for your account.

What happens when processing fails

If an analysis does not complete within the expected timeframe, credits are restored automatically to your account. You will receive an email notification and can retry at any time.
